YZD Wonderverse Opening Party

An unparalleled art party strategically repurposing objects found in a decommissioned airplane factory.

In celebration of YZD/Northcrest Development’s first large scale immersive art experience, Wonderverse, SUPERFANTASTIC created a one-of-a-kind gala to commemorate the site’s history. Over 200 VIP stakeholders, media representatives and guests gathered onsite to explore the historic Bombardier production facility. The event offered a unique opportunity for attendees to connect while enjoying playful bites and cocktails while exploring the vast hangars. The space was outfitted with found artifacts highlighting the site's rich and storied past including a 15ft long airplane fuselage. Other found objects included an industrial sink basin for the bar, drafting tables, runway identification lights and an airplane hatch door. An immersive lighting installation was created to create harmony within the vast space and YZD’s brand.
