The Housemaid Premiere Party
A cinematic high-tea experience where elegance met intrigue, and every sip told part of the story.
In partnership with Cineplex Pictures, we produced an immersive premiere party for the Canadian debut of Paul Feig’s latest film, The Housemaid, starring Amanda Seyfried and Sydney Sweeney. Drawing from the film’s story, themes, and visual language, we created a high tea–inspired experience that reflected the affluent, seemingly perfect suburban world of the central family. Immersive moments throughout the space, including a large-scale floral installation by Floret and a custom dollhouse by visual artist and photographer Briony, subtly revealed the film’s underlying secrets. The food program featured classic tea sandwiches, mini cakes, pink cupcakes, theatre candy seen in the film, and a selection of savoury passed canapés. The beverage program unfolded across three distinct bars, including a high tea bar with tea inspired cocktails served in bone china teacups, a martini bar offering a choice of olives or lemon twist, and a classic bar with wine, beer, and spirits. Entertainment included a live jazz pianist performing pop selections from the film’s soundtrack, followed by DJ Sophie Jones, who closed out the evening.
