Bandit Running United in Motion

United in Motion: A three-day love letter to the legacy of Toronto running.

In collaboration with Bandit Running, Culture Athletics, Asics, and Maurten, we launched a retail pop-up for the 2025 Toronto Waterfront Marathon, featuring a limited-edition capsule collection that celebrates Toronto’s vibrant running community. Diving into the city’s rich running history, we unearthed striking images from its most iconic races over the past fifty years. Each moment told a story, and our mission was to bring them to life, reimagining these historic scenes as bold, contemporary visuals that capture the rhythm, passion, and heartbeat of Toronto running today. Our apparel combined vintage aesthetics with contemporary streetwear to elevate high quality casual and active pieces from Bandit Running. We kicked off the event series with an intimate, invite-only preview of the space and capsule collection, generously supported by Lake of Bays, Partake Brewing, and Lark. Throughout the evening, guests explored the collection, browsed a vintage collection of over 300 running t-shirts curated by Slow Fast Slow, enjoyed a vinyl-only DJ set by Negative Splits, and mingled with new and old friends from the worldwide running community. The space opened to the public the following day, welcoming a steady stream of runners from around the globe eager to purchase highly limited items from the capsule collection. As the evening progressed, runners were invited back to the pop-up for the inaugural Don’t Trip Mile, an unsanctioned one-mile night race starting at the pop-up, traveling through Trinity Bellwoods Park, and finishing back at the space. The following morning began with a shakeout run of 200+ runners, who were then welcomed back to enjoy complimentary coffee and snacks from Pilot Coffee Roasters, serving a refreshing flow of our signature blend, Morning Miles.
