AAVVGG Pop-Up
A dinner party, art installation and retail pop-up in celebration of the studio’s first year.
One of our goals of the studio is to foster community and build long lasting relationships with our clients and others doing work that inspires us. To celebrate the first year of the studio, we partnered with contemporary design store AAVVGG to host a series of events. We began with an intimate dinner party for our clients, collaborators and friends of the studio featuring a 3-course tasting menu and wine by RPM Bakehouse with seasonal ingredients sourced from their regenerative farm and garden in Jordan, Ontario. Toronto-based artist Timberlost created a large-scale floral installation out of bound foraged grasses suspended using strapping, metal hooks and an industrial skid and collaborated with us on our ONE (21–22) retail pop-up. On our final day, we hosted an open house and after hours party where guests were able to see our collection in person, listen to some great music, enjoy a cocktail and catch up with new and old friends from Toronto’s art and design community.
